Banana Bisque (Gale Gand) |

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups cream |
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 cup sugar |
pinch salt |
1/4 vanilla bean |
2 bananas, sliced |
serving suggestion: coffee ice cream or granita |
Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients in a pot, except the bananas, and bring to a boil. Chill overnight if making ahead of time. 2. When ready to serve, warm the bisque through and add the sliced bananas. Place ice cream or granite in the center of a shallow bowl and surround it with the warm bisque. |
