Keep a stash of frozen bananas-they're great in smoothies because they add flavor and body. Ingredients:
1 large frozen banana, peeled and broken into pieces |
1 cup frozen blueberries |
1 cup orange juice |
1 cup plain yogurt or milk |
1 tablespoon wheat germ (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients and wheat germ, if desired, in a blender; cover and blend on low until coarsely chopped. Blend on high until smooth. |
