Frozen mixed berries and dry milk help keep cost and preparation to a minimum for this anytime smoothie. Blend with banana, yogurt, sugar, and orange juice for a citrus accent. Substitute other frozen fruits, like peaches, for fun variety. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups calcium-fortified orange juice |
1 1/4 cups frozen mixed berries (such as cascadian farm harvest berries) |
1 cup sliced ripe banana |
1/2 cup vanilla fat-free yogurt |
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. |
