Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. sugar |
1/2 c. butter |
2 ripe bananas, mashed |
3/4 c. sour cream or buttermilk |
1 t. soda |
2 eggs |
1 t. vanilla |
1/4 t. salt |
2 c. flour |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and butter. Blend in mashed bananas. Add eggs and remaining ingredients. Bake in jelly roll pan 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost. 2. FROSTING: 3. /2 c. butter 4. c. brown sugar 5. /4 c. milk 6. /4 c. powdered sugar 7. Boil brown sugar and butter over low heat for 2 minutes. Add milk and bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Cool to just warm and add powdered sugar. Mix until thick and spread over banana bars. |
