We enjoy this salad around the holiday. But can be enjoyed any time of the year. You can use any type of apples. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2-3/4 cup sugar |
1 egg, beaten |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
1 green apple |
1 red apple |
1 yellow apple |
2 -3 bananas |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in sauce pan, over low heat; Cool. 2. Gradually stir in sugar, egg and vinegar. 3. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly; Cool completely. 4. Chop apples and bananas. 5. Pour dressing over fruit and mix gently. 6. Enjoy. |
