From a cookbook my best friend from Georgia gave me during my freshman year of college. I've been making it for 10 years now and it's gotten rave reviews every time I make it. Do NOT leave out the vinegar. Seriously. Don't even think about it. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter, melted |
1 cup sugar |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
9 inches pie shells |
Directions:
1. Preheat over for 325. 2. Mix sugar, beaten eggs, and butter. 3. Add vanilla and vinegar; mix well. 4. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 325 for 45 minutes to our hour. Serve chilled. |
