Balsamic Strawberries with Cream |

Ingredients:
1/3 cup(s) balsamic vinegar |
1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice |
1/2 cup(s) mascarpone cheese |
3 pint(s) strawberries, halved |
2 teaspoon(s) sugar |
2 tablespoon(s) suger |
1/2 cup(s) whipping cream |
Directions:
1. For Syrup: 2. Combine vinegar, sugar, and lemon juice in heavy small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil until syrup is reduced to about 1/4c., about 2 min. Transfer to small bowl & cool completely. 3. For Cream: 4. In Medium cowl, combine mascarpone, cream and sugar; whisk until soft peaks form. 5. To serve: 6. Drizzle berries with balsamic syrup 7 toss to blend. Top with mascarpone mixture. |
