Mmmmm...I've always been intrigued by this combination and finally tried it. I'm sorry I waited so long! These are delicious served over pound cake or leftover scones! Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
Directions:
1. Wash, dry and slice strawberries. 2. Mix all ingredients and let sit at room temp for 1-3 hours. 3. Stir occasionally to incorporate expelled berry juice. 4. Serve over cakes, ice cream or as is. |
