Delicious marinated onions that are roasted. Great with steak or beef roast. Ingredients:
3 sweet onions |
1 c light balsamic salad dressing |
2 tb fresh tarragon leaves,lightly chopped |
1 tsp cerushed garlic |
cooking spray |
salt and fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut ends of onions off,leaving stem and core intact. Quarter onions through core and peel away skin. 2. Place onions in large resealable bag with balsamic dressing,tarragon and garlic. Squwwze out air and seal bag. 3. Marinate in refrigerator for 1 to 4 hours,turning occasionally. 4. Remove onions from refrigerator 30 mins before roasting and bring to room temperature.Preheat oven to 400' Lightly spray baking pan with spray. 5. Place onions in preheated oven for 25 mins. or till fork tender. (If onions brown too quickly,cover loosely with foil. |
