This marinade is specifically for red meat or vegetables. It can be made up to a week in advance of use provided it is stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Fresh herbs such as rosemary, oregano or marjoram can be added if desired. Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 tablespoon dried thyme or 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl. |
