Balsamic Maple Salad With Strawberries |

This salad is simple and easy to make; a quick and perfect lunch. It is healthy and sweet, with an extra kick from the balsamic vinegar! Also great with leftover chicken :) Ingredients:
your favorite greens (i used chopped romaine lettuce) |
sliced strawberries |
raisins |
diced avocado |
sliced almonds |
a handful of shredded parmesan |
for the vinaigrette |
two parts balsamic vinegar |
one part pure maple syrup |
one half part olive oil |
a splash of fresh lemon juice |
pinches of salt, ground black pepper, oregano |
Directions:
1. Whisk all of the vinaigrette ingredients together in the bottom of a bowl. 2. Add your greens, strawberries, raisins. 3. Top with avocado, almonds, and parmesan. 4. Toss & enjoy! |
