2 lbs top round london broil beef |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
2 garlic cloves |
1 teaspoon dried marjoram |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine onion, vinegar, oil, garlic, marjoram and Worcestershire in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. 2. Place meat in a zip-lock bag or a shallow dish. Pierce meat with a fork in several places. Pour sauce over meat, turning to coat. Let marinate in the fridge for at least 8 hours. 3. Preheat grill to medium (300º-350º). Remove meat from marinade. If you want to use the marinade as a sauce, cook it in a sauce pan until it boils. 4. Place meat on grill, covered, for 7-12 minutes each side for medium rare. Remove and let stand for 3 minutes. Cut across the grain into thin slices and serve. |
