Balsamic Kale W/ Asian Pear |

This recipe is really easy to make and is a crowd pleaser. It's delicious and nutritious! Ingredients:
1 bunch kale |
3 cloves garlic |
1/2 a red onion |
1 small asian pear |
2 tbl sp olive oil |
2 tbl sp balsamic vinegar |
salt and fresh ground pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. The cooking process goes fairly quickly so it's a good idea to get all the ingredients ready before turning the stove on. 2. Mince the garlic, chop the onion and pear into 1/2 inch pieces, and tear washed kale into desired sized pieces. 3. Pour the olive oil in a large skillet and turn the stove on to medium. 4. Saute the onion and garlic until soft (about 3 minutes), add the pear and stir for about a minute. 5. Add the kale and saute until desired tenderness. 6. Add the vinegar, salt and pepper. 7. Serve hot. |
