I LOVE these green beans and make them all the time! They are quick and easy with few ingredients but tons of flavor! Ingredients:
1 lb. green beans, washed and trimmed |
1 t. olive oil |
2 shallots chopped |
2 cloves garlic chopped |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
s&p |
Directions:
1. Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil. Boil the beans for about 4 minutes then remove them to a bowl of ice water, then transfer to a dish towel to dry off. 2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the shallots and cook for 1-2 minutes then add the garlic and saute until tender. Pour in the vinegar and let simmer about 30 seconds then add in the green beans. Let cook a couple of minutes until the beans are still slightly crisp but cooked. Add your preferred amount of salt and pepper. |
