Balsamic Cabbage and Sausage |

The flavors of balsamic vinegar, garlic and spices blend to make this a favorite at any occasion! I designed it on a whim one day when I was craving balsamic vinegar. Hubby loved it. Ingredients:
20 cheddar little smokies sausages, cut into thirds |
1 cup green cabbage, shredded |
1 cup red cabbage, shredded |
3 garlic cloves (or more) |
2 tablespoons dried sweet basil leaves |
1 teaspoon lemon pepper |
3 tablespoons orange juice, fresh |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce (optional) |
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a large fry pan and sautee at high heat until cabbage is crisp tender. 2. Plate and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. |
