A Dutch East India recipe using ground beef and rice. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 1/2 cups cooked rice |
1/2 cup minced onion |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Brown ground beef in a frying pan; pour off drippings. 3. Combine beef and remaining ingredients in a 2 quart covered casserole dish. 4. Bake 30 minutes. |
