These sloppy joes are a lot different than my grandma's but in a good way! They are definitely worth trying! I brown my hamburger with seasoning and the onions so they are fully cooked and not crunchy. Ingredients:
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans chicken gumbo soup (drained) |
2 lbs browned hamburger |
1/2 cup chopped onion (optional) |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans tomato soup |
1 cup ketchup |
2 -3 dashes worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons mustard |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a large skillet or deep dish pan over medium heat.Cook until bubbly. Serve on buns or bread. |
