This is really good but simple. And VERY cheesy! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup) |
1 (24 ounce) jar prego fresh mushroom italian sauce (i use three cheese) |
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded (i used 5 cups) |
5 cups pasta, cooked and drained (medium tube-shaped ) |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Cook the beef and onion in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to break up the meat. Pour off any fat. 2. Stir the sauce, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and pasta in the saucepan. Spoon the mixture into a 3-quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling. |
