Baked Whitefish With Tomato Sauce

Fish recipe from Costa Rica
Ingredients:
6 ounces onions, finely chopped
1 1/2 medium green peppers, diced
chicken seasoning, mix
3 medium tomatoes, crushed
1 1/2 cups tomato paste
1/2 small bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash cayenne pepper
salt
3 lbs white fish, boned
Directions:
1. In a nonstick skillet, cook onions to transparent.
2. Add green pepper and sprinkle on chicken seasoning, cook for 3 minutes.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients except fish; simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Place fish in baking dish; top with sauce.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
