Tofu frozen then baked. Can be served over rice and vegetables or eaten as a snack. Ingredients:
500 grams tofu |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar |
4 cloves garlic |
1 tbsp ginger, diced |
1 tsp cayenne pepper |
1 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Drain water from tofu and freeze for at least 4 hours. 2. Allow tofu to thaw and drain any excess moisture. 3. Cut tofu in to 8 slices and coat well with marinade. Marinade for 1-2 hours. 4. Bake the tofu at 375 for about 40 minutes, turning twice during baking time. Tofu should be golden and most of marinade should evaporate. 5. 1 serving is two slices of baked tofu. |
