This sticky, baked chicken is wonderful for potlucks or a family picnic. It goes great with baked beans, corn on the cob, and potato salad. Ingredients:
2 cut up whole chickens |
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed) |
1/2 cup soy sauce (scant) add h20 to make up difference |
1/4 tsp. ginger |
1/4 tsp. garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Brown the chicken and place in an 13 x 9 baking pan. 2. Mix all other ingredients together and bring to a boil. 3. Take off stove and pour over chicken and bake. 4. Baste twice with sauce from pan while baking. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour. |
