If you have trouble getting rice to come out the way you like it, try this its comes out perfect every time. Ingredients:
3 tbsp olive oil |
1 onion finely chopped |
1 cup long grain white rice |
2 cups chicken or vegetable stock. |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. In medium saucepan heat olive oil and cook onion stirring frequently until translucent. 3. Add rice and cook stirring for 5-6 minutes until some of the grain starts to look translucent. 4. Transfer everything to a 11/2 quart glass baking dish. 5. Bring stock to a boil and pour over rice. 6. Cover dish and bake for 30-40 minutes. 7. Stand 10 minutes 8. Fluff with fork before serving. |
