Very easy and quick if you use the microwave - have prepared both ways. A family favorite. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for a few days - great for lunch at work the next day! Ingredients:
2 cups white rice |
1 (40 g) package dry onion soup mix |
1 (284 ml) can mushrooms (pieces and stems, with juice) |
3 cups water |
1/4 cup soya sauce |
1/4 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil. 2. Mix all ingredients in a caserole dish, stir well. 3. Cover and bake in conventional oven for 1 hour 350F or microwave for 20 minutes on high power. |
