Ingredients:
4 1/4 thick rounds provolone cheese
1 small-diced beefsteak tomato
1 tb extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp chopped fresh marjoram(or oregano)
1 tsp balsamic vinegar,divided
1/4 tsp kosher salt
few grinds black pepper
Directions:
1. Position a rack in center of oven and heat to 450' Arrange 4 5 to 6 individual shallow gratin dishes on rimmed baking sheet...Distribute the slices of provolone among the dishes.
2. In a small bowl,combine tomatogarlic,oil,marjoram,kosher salt and black pepper. Portion mixture among the dishes,scattering it over and among the cheese.
3. Bake till cheese is slightly melted,about 5 mins. Drizzle each serving with balsamic vinegar
