Baked Potatoes On The Grill |

We just love baked potatoes. Started making them on the grill over the summer, and now we always stick them on there! LOL Ingredients:
4 med - lg potatoes, your choice (we like red ones) |
evoo |
kosher salt |
aluminum foil |
garnishes |
butter |
cheese |
sourcream |
chives |
bacon bits, or, bacon fried and crumbled |
salt |
fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium heat 2. Scrub potatoes well, so you can eat the crispy skins! 3. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork 4. Lay out a piece of foil on the counter for each potato (to minimize the messiness that will ensue), shiny side up 5. Lay a potatoe on each piece of foil 6. Drizzle each with about 2 T EVOO 7. Generously sprinkle each with Kosher salt 8. Pick up potatoe and rub oil and salt all over 9. Wrap tightly in foil, shiny side to potato 10. Place on top rack of grill, or, turn heat off of one side, and place on the side with no heat 11. Grill about 35 minutes with lid closed 12. Turn halfway over 13. Grill another 35 minutes or so 14. Check for doneness with fork 15. Should slide in with no resistance 16. Garnish as desired and enjoy!! |
