Ingredients:
4 cup(s) coarsely mashed potatoes |
1/4 cup(s) butter |
1/2 large onion |
2 tablespoon(s) flour |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 can(s) chicken broth (add water to make 2 cups liquid) |
1/2 cup(s) cheddar cheese |
1 cup(s) milk |
1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
1 package(s) bacon bits |
minced green onions |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter until onion is limp. Add flour and salt. Stir. Add broth and water. Bring to a boil then simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add potatoes and milk. Add cheese and sour cream. Stir until cheese melts. Serve with bacon bits, green onion and grated cheese. |
