Crispy and full of flavor, pita sticks are sure to be a snack time hit!! Low in fat had high in flavor - Potato and tortilla chips don't stand a chance!! Ingredients:
6 wild oats organic pita bread (white or whole-wheat) |
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1 tablespoon sea salt |
1 teaspoon dill |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon basil |
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F Mix together the spices and herbs. 2. Cut each pita with a pair of kitchen scissors into 1-inch wide strips. Place on a cookie sheet. Brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with spice mixture. Bake 5-8 minutes or until golden brown. |
