Simple and easy! For a variation, sprinkle with salt and lemon juice and dot with butter instead of the cinnamon and sugar. From the Western chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947. Ingredients:
1 papaya, cut into serving portions (mature but unripe) |
cinnamon, to taste |
sugar, to taste |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F and put a little bit of water in a baking pan. 2. Remove seeds from papaya, sprinkle fruit with cinnamon and sugar and place in baking pan. 3. Bake for 35 minutes and serve while hot. |
