Baked Onion and Cheese Dip |

Great for family gatherings, pot lucks, and holiday cook-outs. From . Yield and time to make are estimates. Ingredients:
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated |
1 cup pepper jack cheese, grated |
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (or seasoning of choice) |
2 cups vidalia onions, chopped, divided |
Directions:
1. In a food processor, combine the Cheddar cheese, Pepper jack cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, thyme, and 1 cup of the onions. 2. Cover and process until blended. 3. Stir in remaining onion. 4. Transfer to a greased baking dish. 5. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly. 6. Serve with crackers, day old baguette or French bread. |
