This quick and easy Amish breakfast bar recipe is one of my most cherished because it's hearty and flavorful. My wonderful husband loves to eat...especially what I make! Ingredients:
1 egg, lightly beaten |
1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup canola oil |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
1/4 cups raisins |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cut into squares. Yield: 4-6 servings. |
