I love oatmeal cookies, I love the way oatmeal smells, but I detest oatmeal for breakfast! Why? Texture!! So, in my pursuit to find new things to make for breakfast, and to have a healthier diet, imagine my delight when I learned that I could bake oatmeal! Read more !! WHAT? REALLY!? Anyway, here is a new love of mine.... :) Ingredients:
5 c rolled oats (do not use instant oats) |
2 c 2% milk |
4 large eggs |
3/4 c honey |
1 t baking powder |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1 pinch of salt |
1/2 c raisins |
1/2 c dried cranberries |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9×13 baking pan. 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown. |
