Our you looking for a tasty twist on your bowl of Oats. This recipe will give you plenty of taste with a warm hearty way to start the day. I added blueberries and milk. Ingredients:
3 cups of oats |
1 cup of brown sugar ( i used less sugar) |
2 tsp of ground cinnamon |
2tsp of baking powder |
2tsp of vanilla |
1tsp salt |
1/2 cup of melted butter |
2 eggs |
3/4 cups of diced apples or raisins |
, i added 2 tbs of flax seed |
Directions:
1. Directions : Preheat Oven to 350* 2. In a large bowl mix : oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt Then beat in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla stir in apples or raisins. dump into a 9x13 pan and cook for 40 minutes 3. Store any leftovers in a zip lock bag in a cool dry place. |
