What a great way to eat your oats, and so delicious. Ingredients:
2 cups old-fashioned oats |
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring |
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
1 large apple |
unpeeled and grated |
4 cups milk |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup dried cherries |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Coat 3-quart dish or baking pan with cooking spray. I 3. n mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. 4. Transfer to baking dish. 5. Sprinkle top with additional almonds. 6. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Serve hot. |
