A portable oatmeal that tastes like a mildly sweet cake. 130g is about 200 C Ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal, old fashioned oats |
1 cup oat bran |
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 whole eggs |
1/2 cup yogurt, plain, fat free |
1 cup skim milk, fat free |
1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
2 tsp splenda |
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Spray 8X8 glass pan with non-stick spray 3. Combine first ingredients. 4. Hand-blend all additional ingredients. 5. Add wet ingredients to dry, stir, and put into pan and into oven immediately. 6. Cook for 25-30 minutes, or until top is golden brown and oatmeal feels firm to the touch. 7. Cool for a few minutes and then turn out of the pan onto a cooling rack. Serve warm or cold. |
