I adjusted this recipe. The eggs make it a little high in cholesterol, I suppose, but I think the protein is good for breakfast. This recipe has no oil.
Ingredients:
6 cups oats (if steel-cut, soak overnight first)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup powdered milk (optional)
4 eggs
1 cup applesauce
3 cups water
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400.
2. Mix dry ingredients.
3. Add wet ingredients.
4. Spray a 9 x 12 pan.
5. Dump in batter.
6. Bake 30 minutes.
7. Serve in a bowl splashed with milk.
