I serve these crab cakes every Friday night for dinner to my guests and they always get RAVE reviews. They are so simple to prepare and unlike some recipes they have very little filler. I serve a bowl of Remoulade sauce on the side. Read more . The also make great appetizers Ingredients:
1 pound lump crab meat |
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs |
1/2 teaspoon old bay seasoning |
2 stalks celery, finely chopped |
1/4 of a small onion, finely chopped |
1/4 cup mayoanaise |
Directions:
1. Saute onion & celery in a small amount of butter or microwave until al dente, cool 2. combine the seasoning and bread crumbs 3. Lightly toss crumbs, celery & onion with the crab meat 4. Lightly, without breaking the the lumps, add mayoanaise 5. Form into desired size cakes 6. Bake at 350 for approximately 20 minutes or until the tops are brown |
