Baked Lima Beans In Sour Cream |

This is a real old recipe I found a long time ago.... Ingredients:
2 cups dried lima beans (you could use can or frozen ones) |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon dried mustard |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
1 cup sour cream |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
3 strips bacon |
Directions:
1. When beans are partly done, add 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon mustard. 2. Cook until tender, drain, place in greased casserole dish. 3. Add sour cream, syrup, remaining salt and pepper. 4. Mix well. 5. Pour over lima beans, place bacon on top and bake about 50 minutes at 375 degrees. |
