Baked Ham And Corn Casserole |

A very good way to use the last of a ham. Simple ingredients but good. Ingredients:
3 tbsp. butter |
3 tbsp. flour |
11/2 c. milk |
1/2 tsp. dry mustard |
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce |
1/4 tsp. sea salt |
1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper |
1 (no. 2) can whole corn, drained or 1 pkg. frozen corn |
1 sm. onion, chopped |
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped |
2 c. cooked ham, cubed |
1/2 c. grated cheese (or more) |
bread crumbs (italian) |
Directions:
1. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. 2. Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. 3. Add corn, onion, green pepper and ham. 4. Pour in a 2-quart casserole. 5. Top with bread crumbs and cheese. 6. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. |
