Baked Halibut With Walnuts Au Gratin |

From the Costco recipe magazine. Ingredients:
4 -6 ounces halibut fillets |
salt and pepper |
1 lemon, juice of |
2 tablespoons dry white wine |
1 cup walnuts, toasted and finely chopped |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Place fish on a well greased sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. 3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and wine. 4. Combine walnuts, grated cheese, and milk, spread on the top of the fish. 5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter. 6. Wrap the fish tightly in foil, sealing the ends and top with double folds. 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the fish is tender and flaky. |
