Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups regular grits, uncooked |
3 cups water |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Combine grits and water in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil ; reduce heat, and simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Serve immediately. |
