Source Shadows One of my originals.Very tasty. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh asparagus |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped |
black pepper, to taste |
salt, to taste |
Directions:
1. Break tough ends off asparagus. 2. Place in Ziploc bag. 3. Cook garlic and parsley in oil for 3 minutes. 4. Pour garlic oil over asparagus. 5. Toss to coat. 6. Lay coated asparagus stalks in baking tray, making sure they don't overlap. 7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. 8. Bake in 400ยบ oven for 5-8 minutes, or until asparagus is tender. 9. NOTES: For extra flavor and a classy presentation, wrap 4-5 stalks together with a slice of uncooked bacon, securing with a toothpick. 10. Repeat with remaining stalks. 11. Spoon any left over garlic oil over bunches. 12. Bake additional 5 minutes. |
