A soft creamy fudge made on the home and family show a few years ago. hoping this is helpful to a request for a soft fudge.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup melted butter
1 cup pecans (optional)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat eggs until lemon colored.
2. In another bowl, place sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.
3. Mix with a spoon.
4. Add this mixture to eggs, a little at a time, beating with a mixer.
5. Add butter and vanilla to above mixture; mix well.
6. Fold in pecans, if using.
7. Put mixture in a square glass baking dish.
8. Place dish in another larger pan filled with warm water.
9. Bake in a preheated 325°F oven for about 45 minutes.
10. It will be custard like in the center.
