A Sweet syrupy baked dessert. Most delicious!! Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (425 g) can fruit cocktail, in syrup including juice (425g) |
1 (8 ounce) can milk |
1 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons butter |
5 ml vanilla essence |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except Ideal milk, butter and vanilla essence. 2. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes. 3. While baking, mix together: 1 small tin Ideal Milk, 1 cup Sugar, 4 Tblsp Butter, 5ml Vanilla Essence and dissolve over low heat. Pour over baked pudding as soon as it comes out of oven. 4. Serve with cream or ice-cream. |
