These are so good I can't believe I made them! Ingredients:
5 tablespoons margarine |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups flour |
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 cup milk |
6 tablespoons margarine, melted |
3 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Cream margarine, sugar and mix well. 2. Add egg and mix. 3. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk. 4. Fill greased muffin tins half full and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350ºF. 5. TOPPING: Remove doughnuts from pan immediately. 6. Dip or toss in melted margarine, then into cinnamon-sugar mixture. |
