BAKED EGGS DATED 1956 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Watson Estate in Heath, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
1 stick butter |
1 dozen eggs |
8 ounces sour cream |
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese |
salt and pepper |
optional |
ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onions, favorite herbs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Put butter in glass dish and melt in oven while mixing remaining ingredients. 3. Whisk eggs well then add other ingredients. 4. Mix together then pour into pan with melted butter then bake one hour. |
