This is good to make in advance. Ingredients:
1 (6-ounce) package croutons |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
1 (16-ounce) package link sausages, browned and cut up |
1 (6-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained |
6 eggs |
2 3/4 cups milk, divided |
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
Directions:
1. Instructions 2. Spread croutons over bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle on cheese. Layer sausages and mushrooms on top. Beat eggs with 2 1/4 cups milk and dry mustard. Pour over all. Chill overnight. 3. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Com-bine soup and 1/2 cup milk. Pour over casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until done. |
