I got this recipe from a Welcome Wagon Cookbook Ingredients:
8 -10 slices bread, cubed with crusts removed |
3/4 lb velveeta cheese, cubed |
1/2 cup melted butter |
2 cups milk |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
salt, to taste |
pepper, to taste |
6 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Place cubed bread and cheese into a 9x13-inch greased pan. 2. In bowl mix butter, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper; add beaten eggs and pour over bread and cheese. 3. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. 4. For variety, add bacon, sausage or extra cheese. |
