BAKED DEVILED EGGS IN SOUR CREAM This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the White Estate in Frisco, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 tablespoon butter melted |
2 tablespoons ground parsley |
1 tablespoon ground onion |
salt and pepper |
1 cup sour cream |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Cut peeled eggs in half lengthwise then remove yolks without breaking whites and mash yolks. 2. Make a filling by blending mashed yolks, curry powder, butter, parsley, onion, salt and pepper. 3. Fill whites and lay them in a greased baking dish. 4. Season sour cream with salt and paprika then pour over the eggs and bake 5 minutes in hot oven. |
