BAKED CUCUMBERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Patrick Estate in Canton, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers sliced |
2 spanish onions |
1 cup chili sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Arrange cucumbers and onions in layers adding to each layer, salt, pepper and flour. 2. Cover with chili sauce and dot with butter then bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
