Easy make ahead side dish and VERY YUMMY - A recipe in my files from a long time ago and originally found in Ladies Home Journal magazine. Ingredients:
4 cups diced potatoes |
2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon grated onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. In top of double boiler, combine all ingredients except cheese. 2. Cook over boiling water for 20 minutes. 3. Pour into buttered baking dish. 4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
